Installation Steps

Step 1: Conductor Preparation - Clean conductor surface, remove oxide layer and dirt - Wrap aluminum binding tape (1mm×10mm) at conductor installation position, wrapping direction consistent with outer layer stranding direction of conductor

Step 2: Clamp Installation - Place conductor into clamp groove, ensure conductor is centered in groove - Install pressure plate, ensure wavy groove of pressure plate fits tightly with conductor

Step 3: Bolt Tightening - Tighten U-bolts gradually in diagonal sequence - Use torque wrench to tighten evenly, ensure balanced force on all bolts - Recommended torque values: M12 bolts approximately 40-50N·m, M16 bolts approximately 80-100N·m

Step 4: Inspection and Acceptance - Check whether conductor and clamp are in tight contact without looseness - Confirm clamp grip force meets requirements (not less than 90% of conductor rated tensile strength) - Install cotter pins to prevent bolt loosening
