Advantages of Anti-Vibration Hammers

 

1. Demagnetization and Loss Reduction 

The upper clamping plate is made of aluminum alloy (non-magnetic), forming a non-closed magnetic circuit with the steel base plate. This significantly reduces hysteresis losses and eddy current heating, thereby improving transmission efficiency and making it suitable for high-current busbars.

2. Reliable Structure, Wide Compatibility

Frame-style design: the base plate is made of hot-dip galvanized steel (load-bearing / corrosion-resistant), while the cover plate is made of aluminum alloy (wear-resistant / electrically insulating); accommodates 1–3 flat rectangular busbars, covering mainstream copper busbar widths of 63–125 mm, and meets standard current requirements up to 4000 A.

3. Installation-Friendly and Anti-Displacement

Secured with countersunk bolts and insulators; upper and lower aluminum clamps ensure the busbar does not shift or wobble; built-in anti-slip structure prevents loosening caused by electrodynamic forces or thermal expansion and contraction; one fixing point per busbar section, located at the midpoint for greater stability.

4. Compliant, Durable, and Low-Maintenance

Complies with GB standards; free of sharp edges or burrs; surface treated with hot-dip galvanizing and aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance; service life ≥15 years; compatible with M10/M16 post insulators for easy installation.

Q: What is the difference between MNP, MWP, and MWL?

A: MNP: Indoor horizontal rectangular busbar mounting hardware (most commonly used);
MWP: Outdoor horizontal rectangular busbar mounting hardware (higher corrosion resistance);
MWL/MNL: Indoor/outdoor vertical rectangular busbar mounting hardware (suitable for vertically arranged busbars).

Q: Why are MNP covers made of aluminum alloy instead of steel?

A: Steel closed circuits in AC busbars generate eddy current and hysteresis losses, leading to increased heat generation and power loss. Aluminum alloy is non-magnetic, eliminating hysteresis losses while offering lightweight construction and corrosion resistance.

Q: How to select the MNP model?

A: 3-step selection process:
Check the layout: Choose MNP for horizontal installation, MWL/MNL for vertical installation;
Check the number of panels: 1 panel – 10 series, 2 panels – 20 series, 3 panels – 30 series;
Check width: 63 mm – select 101/201/301; 80 mm – select 102/202; 100 mm – select 103/203; 125 mm – select 104/204.

Q: What should be noted during installation?

A: Ensure bolts are tightened flush with the insulators without applying additional pressure to the busbar;
Leave a 1–1.5mm gap between the flat clamping plate and the busbar (to allow for thermal expansion and contraction);
Secure one fixed point per busbar section, located at the midpoint of the total length or between two expansion joints;
Ensure contact surfaces are free of burrs, and apply bolt torque according to specifications (approx. 25 N·m for M10, approx. 45 N·m for M16).

Q: Can the MNP be reused?

A: Reuse is not recommended. After disassembly, the steel base plate and aluminum alloy cover plate are prone to deformation, and bolt threads are prone to stripping. Reuse may result in loosening and poor contact, compromising safety.
