● It is made of malleable cast iron and secured with a U-shaped bolt, anchoring small and medium cross-section conductors through friction, and is the mainstream fixing hardware for distribution network strain towers.

◆ The NLD bolt-type tension clamp is a standard-compliant, universal load-bearing connection fitting primarily used for the terminal fixation, angle connections, and branch anchoring of aluminum stranded wire and steel-core aluminum stranded wire in overhead power lines. Thanks to the convenience of bolt fastening and its stable mechanical properties, it is widely used in various distribution and transmission lines to bear the full tension of the conductors.

Application Scope

Distribution lines: Mainly used for overhead distribution lines of 10kV and below, it is one of the most common strain fittings in distribution systems.

Small and medium cross-section conductors: Suitable for steel core aluminum stranded wire or aluminum stranded wire up to LGJ-240, not suitable for large cross-section conductors (large cross-sections require compression-type strain clamps).

Specific optical cables: Some models (such as NLD-3) are also suitable for ADSS optical cables, used for lines with spans ≤100 meters and angles <25°.
