◆ The NX type wedge strain clamp (non-adjustable type) is a self-locking fitting based on a wedge block, specifically designed for overhead power lines; it primarily consists of a main body, wedge block, U-bolt, suspension ring/plate, and similar components; here, "N" stands for "tension," while 'X' denotes the "wedge" structure.
◆ This product is primarily used on the end points, corner towers, and tension towers of overhead insulated conductors, stranded aluminum conductors, aluminum-steel stranded conductors (ACSR), and lightning protection conductors; it features simple installation (no crimping required).

Product Features
● It primarily consists of a main body, wedge blocks, U-bolts, suspension rings/plates, and similar components.
● By leveraging the self-locking frictional force generated between the wedge blocks and the conductor, it is capable of withstanding the conductor's full tensile load.
● This clamp is predominantly utilized at the terminal ends, angle points, and tension-tower anchorages of overhead insulated conductors, aluminum stranded conductors, aluminum-conductor steel-reinforced (ACSR) cables, and lightning protection wires.
● It offers convenient installation-requiring no crimping-and is classified as a detachable type of tension clamp.

A: No. NX wedge-type clamps require no stripping, hydraulic tools, or welding; simply insert the conductor directly into the clamp, align the wedge, and tighten the bolt.
Q: What voltage levels are suitable for NX type wedge strain clamp?
A: They are typically used for AC distribution lines rated at 10kV and below. Generally, they are not recommended for use as primary load-bearing tension clamps on high-voltage transmission lines rated at 110kV and above.
Q: What are the consequences if the conductor model does not match the NX type wedge strain clamp?
A: If the clamp is too large, it will fail to grip the conductor securely, making it prone to slipping or detaching.
If the clamp is too small, it will damage the conductor-causing strand breakage and stress concentration-which can lead to line faults.

Q: Do NX wedge-type tension clamps require periodic inspection?
