Designed for T-tap connections between conductors of equal cross-section (50–240 mm²) on 10kV medium-voltage, heavy-load overhead insulated lines, this connector is suitable for capacity upgrades on urban and rural grid trunk lines and for high-capacity distribution branch connections. Material: The housing is made of weather-resistant, flame-retardant, glass-fiber reinforced PA66 high-voltage insulating plastic. It features thickened, highly conductive tinned copper piercing teeth and two high-strength carbon steel locking bolts. It accommodates main and branch lines with cross-sections of 50–240 mm², supports a rated voltage of 10 kV and a rated current of 530 A, and meets the requirements for medium-voltage, high-current cable branching.

Manufacturing: Produced via integrated high-pressure injection molding with a large cavity; the cavity profile matches the outer diameter of large-cross-section cables. It utilizes a symmetrical, dual-bolt synchronous clamping structure with precision-controlled piercing depth. Installation requires no wire stripping; it reliably pierces the 10 kV cable insulation without damaging the conductor core, ensuring uniform clamping force and resistance to slipping or loosening.

Corrosion Resistance: All metal bolts and conductive piercing components undergo comprehensive electro-galvanizing and passivation for rust prevention. The sealed internal cavity is filled with insulating silicone grease to block moisture and salt spray from the conductive contact surfaces. The UV-resistant modified plastic housing withstands long-term outdoor exposure to sun and rain, inhibiting electrochemical oxidation, overheating, and corrosion at the connection point.
