The Z Type Clevis Angle Plate is a core directional connection component in power line hardware. 

Suitable Conductors: Compatible with various overhead conductors such as steel-core aluminum stranded wire (LGJ) and aluminum stranded wire (LJ) (does not directly clamp the conductor; used for turning connections in hardware assemblies)

Application scope: 10 kV to 500 kV overhead transmission and distribution lines; used for directional connections of hardware such as insulator strings, towers, suspension clamps, and tension clamps; suitable for tower sections including corner, tension, and suspension points

Operating temperature: Long-term operation from -40°C to +85°C; short-term resistance up to 120°C; suitable for harsh high- and low-temperature environments

Installation


 ● Direction Confirmation: Before installation, confirm the direction of the mounting plate. The long side (vertical side) usually connects to the crossarm of the pole, while the short side (horizontal side) connects to the U-shaped hanging rings of the insulator string, ensuring the force direction aligns with the design drawings.


● Bolt Tightening: Use bolts of matching specifications to pass through the crossarm holes and mounting plate holes, add flat washers and spring washers, and tighten with a torque wrench to the specified value (e.g., M16 bolts about 40-60 N·m).


● Anti-Loosening Treatment: After bolt tightening, cotter pins must be installed. Insert the cotter pin into the pinhole at the end of the bolt and spread the legs of the pin to more than 60° to prevent the nut from loosening and falling off due to vibration.
