Deepening China-Africa Trade Cooperation: Cameroon Influencer Delegation Visits Jinkaite Power Fittings

Benefiting from the continued development of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), commercial exchanges between China and Cameroon have become increasingly active. As a key member of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC), Cameroon is accelerating rural electrification projects and power distribution network upgrades, driving growing demand for low-voltage electrical connection fittings.

On May 28, 2026, two business representatives from Cameroon traveled from Guangzhou to visit Guangdong Jinkaite Power Fittings Co., Ltd. for an on-site inspection of the company's JJC Series Insulation Piercing Connectors (IPC). The visit focused on exploring long-term procurement cooperation and further expanding Jinkaite's presence in the West and Central African markets.

Factory Tour and Product Evaluation

Upon arrival at Jinkaite's manufacturing facility, the guests were warmly welcomed by the company's management team, including Mr. Xu, Mr. Deng, and Mr. Peng, together with the core members of the international sales department.

The visitors toured Jinkaite's intelligent manufacturing workshop and product showroom, where they received a comprehensive introduction to the JJC-1 through JJC-7 insulation piercing connector series. Detailed presentations covered production processes, raw material selection, quality control systems, and international product certifications.

Despite initial concerns regarding language barriers, the discussions proceeded smoothly as both visitors spoke fluent Chinese. During the meeting, it was learned that the two entrepreneurs have been living and conducting business in Guangdong, China, for more than three years after studying Chinese language programs at Shenzhen University.

Influencer Connecting Chinese Manufacturing with African Markets

One of the visitors is a well-known social media influencer in Cameroon with millions of followers across local digital platforms. Leveraging his strong online presence, he actively promotes Chinese-made industrial products to African audiences.

His business model involves visiting manufacturing facilities throughout China, documenting production processes, and sharing factory inspection videos with local distributors, contractors, and utility project stakeholders in Cameroon. Through these activities, he helps African buyers identify reliable Chinese manufacturers while facilitating supplier verification, product sourcing, and supply chain coordination.

This role has made him an important bridge connecting Chinese manufacturers with African infrastructure and utility markets.

Recognition of Product Quality and Performance

During the factory tour, the visitors closely observed Jinkaite's automated manufacturing process for insulation piercing connectors, including:

Aluminum alloy die casting

Injection molding of insulation components

DC resistance testing

Temperature rise testing

AC withstand voltage testing

Product performance was evaluated against China's DL/T 1190-2012 standard as well as CE certification requirements under the EU Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU).

The delegation expressed strong interest in the corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, installation efficiency, and maintenance advantages offered by Jinkaite's insulation piercing connectors.

Considering the ongoing development of rural electrification and photovoltaic power projects in Cameroon, the visitors stated that the JJC Series IPC products have significant market potential in the country.

Following the evaluation, both parties reached an initial cooperation intention involving an annual procurement volume of up to 300,000 sets of insulation piercing connectors. The customers also indicated their intention to prioritize Jinkaite as a preferred supply partner in China and promote Jinkaite's power fittings through their local online marketing channels in Africa.

The three-hour business meeting concluded with preliminary agreements covering product customization, sample evaluation, shipping arrangements, customs clearance procedures, and payment terms.

Dongguan Manufacturing Supporting Africa's Power Infrastructure Development

As one of the world's leading manufacturing hubs, Dongguan benefits from a mature industrial ecosystem, comprehensive electrical supply chains, and efficient international logistics networks.

Jinkaite Power has leveraged these advantages for years to continuously improve the performance and durability of its JJC insulation piercing connectors. The products have successfully passed authoritative laboratory testing and obtained CE certification issued by UDEM, demonstrating compliance with international quality and safety requirements.

Designed to withstand harsh operating environments including high temperatures, humidity, and coastal salt spray conditions, Jinkaite's products are particularly well suited for power distribution projects throughout Africa and other emerging markets.

Strengthening Cooperation Under the Belt and Road Initiative

With China-Cameroon economic cooperation continuing to expand, major infrastructure projects such as the Kribi Deep Sea Port and various power generation developments have accelerated the modernization of Cameroon's electrical grid.

As demand for reliable distribution network components continues to increase, Jinkaite remains committed to supporting infrastructure development across Africa through high-quality power fittings and professional export services.

The company plans to promptly advance sample verification and trial orders with the Cameroonian customers while laying the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership.

Looking ahead, Jinkaite will continue leveraging Dongguan's manufacturing strengths and the opportunities created by the Belt and Road Initiative to develop innovative, market-oriented power fitting solutions tailored to African operating conditions. Through reliable products and efficient service, Jinkaite aims to contribute to the electrification and infrastructure development of Cameroon and other African countries.
