Installation of Insulation Piercing Clamps

When using cable piercing clamps, first determine the location of the branch line on the main cable. At the determined location, strip 200-500mm of the outer sheath. Fork the main cable cores, without stripping the inner sheath (insulation layer). Insert the branch line directly into the waterproof branch cap (insulation layer not required). Then, fix the clamp to the branch core of the main cable. Tighten the clamp nut by hand at the connection point. Finally, use a sleeve glove to secure the clamp and tighten the torque nut on the clamp clockwise.
